Casio module 1794

Quartz module. 1794 is the number engraved on the caseback of these watches, and Casio files its operation manual under it. 1 watch in the catalog runs on it.

How to operate module 1794

Short steps in our words. The buttons are lettered as in Casio's operation guide, where each task's page is given.

Set the time, day and date

  1. To set the date, pull the crown out to the first click.
  2. Turn the crown to set the date.
  3. Push the crown back in to the normal position.
  4. To set the time and the day of the week, wait until the second hand reaches 12 o'clock, then pull the crown out to the second click: the second hand stops.
  5. Turn the crown to move the hands; the day of the week changes with them. Set the day of the week first, then the time, minding a.m. and p.m.
  6. Push the crown back in on a time signal.

Good to know

Avoid setting the date between 8:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m.: the date may not change on the following day.

The 24-hour hand shows the hour of the day and goes round once every 24 hours.

On a model with a screw lock crown, unscrew the crown before pulling it, and screw it fully back in afterwards: the watch is not water resistant while it is loose.
