How to operate module 3502

Short steps in our words. The buttons are lettered as in Casio's operation guide, where each task's page is given.

Set the time and date

  1. In the Timekeeping Mode, hold A until the seconds flash.
  2. Press C to move through the settings: seconds, hour, minutes, year, month, day.
  3. On the seconds, press D to reset them to 00.
  4. On the other settings, press D to count up.
  5. Press A to leave the setting screen.

Good to know

Resetting the seconds between 30 and 59 adds one minute.

In the Timekeeping Mode, press D to switch between 12-hour and 24-hour format.

Set an alarm

  1. Press C once to go from the Timekeeping Mode to the Alarm Mode.
  2. Press D to pick an alarm, 1 to 5.
  3. Hold A until the hour flashes; the alarm switches on.
  4. Press C to move through hour, minutes, month and day, and D to count up.
  5. Leave the month as - and the day as - - for a daily alarm.
  6. Press A to leave the setting screen.

Good to know

In the Alarm Mode, press A to turn the shown alarm or hourly signal on or off; on Alarm 1 it also steps through snooze. Hold D to test the sound.

Alarm 1 can snooze: it repeats every five minutes, seven times in all.

Light

  1. Press B in any mode to light the display.
  2. The light stays on for about one second.

Good to know

The light switches off by itself when an alarm sounds.

Frequent use of the light shortens battery life.

Stopwatch

  1. Press C three times from the Timekeeping Mode to reach the Stopwatch Mode.
  2. Press D to start, D to stop, and D again to carry on.
  3. When it is stopped, press A to reset it.
  4. For a split time, press A while it runs (SP shows); press A again to release it.

Good to know

It keeps running when you change mode, and counts up to 23 hours 59 minutes 59.99 seconds.

Countdown timer

  1. Press C twice from the Timekeeping Mode to reach the Countdown Timer Mode.
  2. Hold A until the hours flash.
  3. Press C to move between hours and minutes, and D to count up.
  4. Press A to leave the setting screen.
  5. Press D to start, and D again to pause or carry on.
  6. To reset, pause it with D, then press A.

Good to know

Set 0:00 for a 24-hour countdown.

For auto repeat, hold A until the hours flash, press B (A.RPT shows when on), then press A.
