How to operate module 3525

Set the time and date

  1. In the Timekeeping Mode, press A: the seconds flash.
  2. Press C to move through the settings: second, hour, minute, year, month, day.
  3. On the seconds, press B to reset them to 00.
  4. On any other setting, press B to count up (hold for fast).
  5. Press D while digits are flashing to switch between 12-hour and 24-hour format.
  6. Press A to go back to the Timekeeping Mode.

Good to know

Resetting the seconds between 30 and 59 adds one minute.

The day of the week follows the date on its own.

Set an alarm

  1. Press C to reach the Alarm Mode.
  2. Press A until the hour digits flash; the alarm is switched on at this point.
  3. Press C to move through hour, minute, month and day.
  4. Press B to count up the flashing value (hold for fast).
  5. For a daily alarm, set the month to - and the day to - -.
  6. Press A to go back to the Alarm Mode.

Good to know

In the Alarm Mode, press B to cycle the alarm and hourly signal: both off, alarm only, signal only, both on.

In 12-hour format, take care to set a.m. or p.m. correctly.

Light

  1. Press D in any mode to light the display; it goes off about two seconds after you let go.
  2. To make the light flash when the alarm, timer or hourly signal sounds, hold B for about two seconds in the Timekeeping Mode.
  3. The Flash Alert indicator shows while this is on; hold B again to turn it off.

Stopwatch

  1. Press C until the Stopwatch Mode shows.
  2. Press B to start and B again to stop; B resumes.
  3. While running, press A to freeze a split time, and A again to go back to the running time.
  4. When stopped, press A to clear to zero.

Countdown timer

  1. Press C until the Timer Mode shows, then press A: the hours flash.
  2. Press C to move through hours, minutes and seconds, and B to count each up.
  3. Press A to finish setting.
  4. Press B to start and B again to stop.
  5. When stopped, press A to reset to the starting time.

Good to know

While setting, press D to switch auto repeat on or off.

Set 0:00'00 for a 24-hour countdown.
