How to operate module 3556

Short steps in our words. The buttons are lettered as in Casio's operation guide, where each task's page is given.

Set the time and date

  1. In the Timekeeping Mode, hold A until the seconds start to flash.
  2. Press C to step through the settings: seconds, DST, city code, hour, minute, year, month, day.
  3. On the seconds, press D to reset them to 00.
  4. On the hour, minute, year, month or day, press D to go up and B to go down.
  5. Press A to leave the setting screen.
  6. In the Timekeeping Mode, press D to switch between 12-hour and 24-hour format.

Good to know

Choose the Home City code before setting the time: the World Time is worked out from it.

Resetting the seconds between 30 and 59 adds one minute.

Good to know

In the Alarm Mode, each press of D steps through: both on, both off, daily alarm only, hourly signal only.

Button beep

  1. Hold C in any mode, outside a setting screen, to turn the button beep on or off.

The alarm, hourly signal, timer alarms and event time alarm still sound with the beep off.

  1. Press C until the Stopwatch Mode shows.
  2. Press D to start, D to stop, and D again to carry on.
  3. When it is stopped, hold A to reset it.

Good to know

Stopping pauses only the upper display; the lower display keeps counting the total time, so the difference is the time lost to stoppages.

For a match, hold A on the reset screen to set an event time of 1 to 60 minutes with D and B; an alarm sounds when the lower display reaches it.

  4. Press C again to reach auto-repeat, and press D to turn it on or off.
  5. Set the other timers you need the same way, then press A to leave.
  6. Press D to start and to pause; when it is paused, press A to stop and go back to INT 1.

Good to know

The timers run one after another; any timer left at 00'00" is skipped.

For a single countdown, the Preset Timer Mode offers fixed times of 10 to 45 minutes: pick one with A and start it with D.
