Casio module 4369

Quartz module. 4369 is the number engraved on the caseback of these watches, and Casio files its operation manual under it. 2 watches in the catalog run on it.

How to operate module 4369

Short steps in our words. The buttons are lettered as in Casio's operation guide, where each task's page is given.

Set the time and day

  1. Pull the crown out to the second click; the second hand moves to 12 o'clock and stops.
  2. Turn the crown to move the hands clockwise. Go four or five minutes past the time you want, then turn back to it.
  3. Push the crown back in to restart the watch.
  4. To set the day, pull the crown out to the first click, turn it towards you to change the day, then push it back in.

Good to know

Mind a.m. or p.m. when you set the time.

Do not change the day between 9:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m.

On a screw-lock crown, unscrew it before pulling it out and screw it fully back in afterwards; the watch is not water resistant while it is loose.

On a model with an elapsed time bezel, turn the bezel to put its mark on the minute hand; later the minute hand points to the elapsed time on the bezel.

  4. Press B. If the 1/20 second hand is also off, press B to move it to 12 o'clock.

Stopwatch

  1. With the crown pushed in, press A to start, A to stop, and A again to carry on.
  2. Read the elapsed time from the stopwatch hour, minute and second hands and the 1/20 second hand.
  3. When it is stopped, press B to reset it; this goes back to timekeeping.
  4. Press B again to make the 1/20 second hand show the current seconds again.

Good to know

It counts up to 11 hours 59 minutes 59.95 seconds.

The 1/20 second hand turns and shows 1/20 seconds only during the first 30 seconds.

Do not use the stopwatch with the crown pulled out to either click: pressing a button could turn the crown and change the time or day.
