How to operate module 5154

Short steps in our words. The buttons are lettered as in Casio's operation guide, where each task's page is given.

Set the time and date

  1. In the Timekeeping Mode, hold C until the digital seconds flash, then press B to reset them to 00.
  2. Press C to move to the hour, minutes and 12/24-hour format; press B to increase each one or switch the format (hold for fast).
  3. Press C once more to return to the Timekeeping Mode screen.
  4. For the date, press B once to reach the Date Indicator Mode, then hold C until the month flashes.
  5. Press B to change the month, then press C to move to the day and the day of the week and set them the same way.
  6. Press C once more to return to the Date Indicator Mode screen.

Good to know

Resetting the seconds between 30 and 59 adds one minute.

The calendar has no leap years: set February 29 by hand when one comes.

Set an alarm

  1. Press B until the Alarm Mode shows (after the Date Indicator Mode).
  2. Hold C until the hour flashes.
  3. Press B to increase the hour, then press C to move to the tens and then the ones of the minutes, setting each with B.
  4. Press C to reach the on/off setting, and press B to choose both on, both off, daily alarm only or hourly signal only.
  5. Press C to return to the Alarm Mode screen.

Good to know

The alarm sounds for 20 seconds each day and follows the digital time, not the hands.

Hold B in any mode to test the sound; this also changes the mode.

Set the analog hands

  1. In any mode, press A to move the analog hands forward.
  2. Hold A to move them forward fast.
  3. Stop when the hands show the right time.

Good to know

The hands only go forward, not back.

The analog time is separate from the digital time; the alarm uses the digital one.

Stopwatch

  1. Press B until the Stopwatch Mode shows.
  2. Press C to start and C to stop.
  3. Press C again to carry on from the time shown.
  4. When it is stopped, hold C until it clears to 00:00 00.

Good to know

It counts up to 59 minutes 59.99 seconds.
