Set the time and date

  1. Wait for the second hand to reach 12 o'clock, then pull the crown out to the second click.
  2. Turn the crown to set the time, taking care to get a.m. or p.m. right.
  3. Push the crown back in.
  4. For the date, pull the crown out to the first click.
  5. Turn the crown towards you to set the day, and away from you to set the day of the week.
  6. Push the crown back in.

Good to know

Move the minute hand four or five minutes past the time you want, then back it up to that time.

The date assumes a 31-day month, so correct it after shorter months. Avoid changing it between 9 p.m. and 4 a.m.
