How to operate module 5519

Short steps in our words. The buttons are lettered as in Casio's operation guide, where each task's page is given.

Set the time and date

  1. Unscrew the crown, then press A until the watch is in the Calendar Mode.
  2. Pull the crown out to the second click: the second hand moves to 12 o'clock.
  3. Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hands.
  4. Press A, then press B to change the month and turn the crown to change the day.
  5. Press A and turn the crown to set the tens digit of the year.
  6. Press A and turn the crown to set the ones digit of the year.
  7. Push the crown back in on the top of a minute, then screw it in.

Good to know

While paired with a phone running CASIO WATCHES, the watch sets its time and date from the phone by itself, four times a day.

The day of the week follows the date on its own, and the Dual Time moves along with the time you set.

Daylight saving time

  1. Open the CASIO WATCHES app on the phone.
  2. Hold C for about 1.5 seconds and keep holding until the second hand stops at R; it moves to the Bluetooth mark once connected.
  3. Pick Auto, ON (summer time) or OFF (standard time) in the app.

Good to know

With Auto, the watch keeps switching on its own even when not connected; setting the time by hand on the watch cancels the auto switching.

Set an alarm

  1. Press A until the watch is in the Alarm Mode (the mode hand points at AL).
  2. Unscrew the crown and pull it out to the first click: this turns the alarm on.
  3. Turn the crown to set the alarm time on the small hands.
  4. Push the crown back in and screw it in.
  5. Press A once to go back to the Calendar Mode.

Good to know

In the Alarm Mode, press B to turn the alarm on or off; the second hand points at ON or OFF. Any button stops a sounding alarm.

The small 24-hour hand shows a.m. on its A side and p.m. on its P side.

Realign the hands

  1. Unscrew the crown and pull it out to the first click.
  2. Hold D for about five seconds.
  3. Turn the crown until the small hour, small minute and small 24-hour hands are at 12 o'clock, then press A.
  4. Turn the crown until the mode hand points at 0, then press A.
  5. Turn the crown until the hour and minute hands are at 12 o'clock, then press A.
  6. Turn the crown until the second hand is at 12 o'clock, then press A.
  7. Turn the crown until 1 sits in the middle of the day indicator.
  8. Push the crown back in and screw it in.

Good to know

Strong magnetism or a hard knock can put the hands and the day indicator out of line.

The hands can also be corrected from the CASIO WATCHES app.

Stopwatch

  1. Press A once from the Calendar Mode to reach the Stopwatch Mode.
  2. Press B to start, B to stop, and B again to carry on.
  3. When it is stopped, press D to reset it to zero.
  4. For a split time, press D while it runs; the split shows for 10 seconds.
  5. Press A twice to go back to the Calendar Mode.

Good to know

It measures up to 23 hours 59 minutes 59 seconds in 1-second steps, and keeps up to 100 split times for the app.

Reset

  1. Unscrew the crown and pull it out to the second click.
  2. Hold C for about five seconds, until the second hand makes one full turn.
  3. Push the crown back in and screw it in.

Good to know

This returns the auto time adjustment, world time, alarm, stopwatch and connection time settings to their defaults.
