How to operate module 5576

Short steps in our words. The buttons are lettered as in Casio's operation guide, where each task's page is given.

Set the time and date

  1. In the Timekeeping Mode, hold A for about two seconds until ADJ shows and the city code flashes.
  2. Press C to step through the settings: city code, DST, 12/24-hour format, seconds, hour, minute, year, month, day, then button tone and Power Saving.
  3. On the 12/24-hour format, press D to switch.
  4. On the seconds, press D to reset them to 00.
  5. On the hour, minute, year, month or day, press D to go up and B to go down.
  6. Press A to leave the setting screen; the hands move to match the digital time.

Good to know

Resetting the seconds between 30 and 59 adds one minute.

  2. Press C once to reach the DST setting.
  3. Press D to switch between ON (summer time) and OFF (standard time).
  4. Press A to leave. The DST indicator shows while summer time is on.

Good to know

If the time is off by several hours, the Home City may be wrong.

When the battery runs fully down, the Home City goes back to TYO (Tokyo) and has to be set again.

To swap in a World Time city as the new Home City, show it in the World Time Mode and hold A and B together until the watch beeps.

Realign the hands

  1. In the Timekeeping Mode, hold A for about five seconds; keep holding past ADJ until H.SET shows, then let go.
