How to operate module 5607

Short steps in our words. The buttons are lettered as in Casio's operation guide, where each task's page is given.

Set the time and date

  1. In the Timekeeping Mode, hold A for at least two seconds until the seconds flash.
  2. Press C to step through the settings: seconds, DST, Home City code, hour, minutes, 12/24-hour format, year, month, day, then back to the seconds.
  3. On the seconds, press D to reset them to 00.
  4. On the hour, minutes, year, month or day, press D (+) or B (-) to change it (hold for fast).
  5. On the 12/24-hour format, press D to switch between 12H and 24H.
  6. Press A to go back to the Timekeeping Mode.
  7. If the hands do not show the same time as the display, set them as in Set the hands.

Good to know

Set the Home City before the time (see Home City).

In 12-hour format, PM marks noon to 11:59 p.m.

The calendar allows for month lengths and leap years; the day of the week follows the date by itself.

In the Timekeeping Mode, press D to switch the display between the date and day of the week and the hour, minutes and seconds.

Left for two or three minutes with a setting flashing, the watch leaves the setting screen by itself.

Daylight saving time

  1. In the Timekeeping Mode, hold A for at least two seconds until the seconds flash.
  2. Press C once: the DST setting shows.
  3. Press D to switch between ON (summer time) and OFF (standard time).
  4. Press A to go back to the Timekeeping Mode.

Good to know

The DST indicator shows while summer time is on.

If the time is one hour off, the Home City DST setting may need changing.

For a World Time city: in the World Time Mode, press D until the city shows, then hold A for at least two seconds to switch it between summer time (DST shows) and standard time. This changes only that city; it cannot be done for UTC or for the city set as your Home City.

Hourly time signal: in the Alarm Mode, press D until SIG shows, then press A to switch it on or off.

The alarm on indicator shows in all modes while any alarm is on.

Good to know

The locked fast movement also stops by itself after 12 hours or when an alarm, the hourly time signal or the countdown beeper sounds.

On leaving, the watch moves the minute hand slightly to match its own second count.

Light

  1. Press B in any mode to light the display (not while a setting is flashing).
