How to operate module 5641

Short steps in our words. The buttons are lettered as in Casio's operation guide, where each task's page is given.

Set the time and date

  1. In the Timekeeping Mode, hold A for at least two seconds and let go when SET stops flashing.
  2. Press D to move through the settings: seconds, hour, minute, 12/24-hour format, year, month, day.
  3. On the seconds, press E to reset them to 00.
  4. On the other settings, press E or B to change them.
  5. Press A twice to finish.

Good to know

Resetting the seconds between 30 and 59 adds one minute.

Paired with a phone through the CASIO WATCHES app, the watch sets its time automatically.

Set an alarm

  1. Press D until the Alarm Mode shows.
  2. Press C to pick an alarm, -1 to -5.
  3. Hold A for at least two seconds: the hours flash.
  4. Press E or B to set the hour, press D, then set the minutes the same way.
  5. Press A to finish, then hold D for two seconds to go back to the Timekeeping Mode.

Good to know

In the Alarm Mode, press E to turn the shown alarm or the hourly signal (SIG) on or off.

The alarm beeps for 10 seconds; press any button to stop it.

Realign the hands

  1. In the Timekeeping Mode, hold A for at least five seconds and let go when 12:00 flashes.
  2. Press E or B until the hour and minute hands are both at 12 o'clock.
  3. Press A to finish.

Good to know

Strong magnetism or a knock can put the hands out of step with the digital time.

Light

  1. Press B to light the face.
  2. To change the duration: in the Timekeeping Mode, hold A for at least two seconds until SET stops flashing, then press D nine times to reach LT.
  3. Press E to choose 1 (1.5 seconds) or 3 (3 seconds).
  4. Press A twice to finish.

Good to know

Hold B for two seconds in the Timekeeping Mode to turn Auto Light on or off (LT shows); it lights the face when you tilt the watch towards you and switches itself off after about six hours.

Button beep

  1. In the Timekeeping Mode, hold A for at least two seconds and let go when SET stops flashing.
  2. Press D seven times to reach the note symbol.
  3. Press E to choose On or OFF.
  4. Press A twice to finish.

Stopwatch

  1. Press D until the Stopwatch Mode shows (ST).
  2. Press E to start, E to stop, and E again to carry on.
  3. When it is stopped, press A to reset it to zero.
  4. For split times, press A before starting so SPL shows, start with E, then press A at each split.

Good to know

Each lap or split is saved; the Recall Mode shows the latest records, up to 45 in memory.

Press C to switch the lower display between distance and pace.

Countdown timer

  1. Press D until the Timer Mode shows (TR).
  2. Hold A for at least two seconds, then set the number of repeats with E and B.
  3. Press D, then use E and B to show timer 1.
  4. Press D: set the minutes with E and B, press D again, then set the seconds.
  5. Press A to finish setting.
  6. Press E to start, pause and carry on; to reset, pause it with E and press A.

Good to know

The start time goes up to 60 minutes, and the watch beeps each second for the last five.

Up to five timers can run one after another as an interval timer, repeating up to 20 times.

Reset

  1. In the Timekeeping Mode, hold A for at least two seconds and let go when SET stops flashing.
  2. Hold B for at least five seconds.
  3. Let go when CLR ALL stops flashing.

Good to know

Settings and logs go back to factory defaults and the phone is unpaired; the current time and Dual Time stay.
