How to operate module 5678

Short steps in our words. The buttons are lettered as in Casio's operation guide, where each task's page is given.

Set the time and date

  1. In the Timekeeping Mode, pull out the crown: CITY flashes and the second hand points at the Home City.
  2. Press D: HOUR-MIN flashes. Turn the crown to set the minutes.
  3. Press B: HOUR flashes. Turn the crown to set the hour; the second hand shows A for a.m. or P for p.m.

  5. Press B: the month and day flash. Turn the crown to set them.
  6. Push the crown back in on a time signal at the top of a minute.

Good to know

The crown screws down: unscrew it (towards you) before pulling it out, and screw it back in as you push it in, or the watch may lose water resistance.

Set the Home City before the time and date. Where the watch can receive a time signal, the manual recommends letting it set the time that way.

The watch receives the time signal by itself between midnight and 5:00 a.m. To receive it now, go to the Receive Mode (R/C) and hold A for at least two seconds until RC ! shows; it takes about two to 10 minutes, up to 20.

To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour format: in the Timekeeping Mode pull out the crown, press B five times until 12H or 24H flashes, turn the crown, then push it back in.

If you do nothing for about two minutes after pulling out the crown, the crown stops working; push it back in and pull it out again.
