Set the time and date
- In the Timekeeping Mode, unscrew the crown and pull it out: CITY flashes and the second hand points at the Home City. Set the Home City first if needed (see Home City).
- Press D: HOUR-MIN flashes and the second hand points at A (a.m.) or P (p.m.). Turn the crown to set the minutes.
- Press B: HOUR flashes. Turn the crown to set the hour.
- Press B and turn the crown to set the year.
- Press B and turn the crown to set the month and day.
- Push the crown back in on a time signal, at the top of a minute, and screw it in.
- To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour format: pull the crown out, press B five times until 12H or 24H flashes, turn the crown to choose, then push it back in.
- To take the time from the radio signal now: put the watch near a window, press B until the Receive Mode shows (the mode hand points at R/C), then hold A for at least two seconds until RC! shows. Keep the watch still until it finishes.
Good to know
The watch sets itself from the radio time signal each night; set it by hand only where it cannot receive one.
A signal reception takes about two to 10 minutes, sometimes up to 20. Reception is better at night.
With no operation for about two minutes after you pull out the crown, the crown stops working; push it in and pull it out again.
Turning the crown quickly a few times starts fast forward or reverse; turn it the other way or press any button to stop.
