How to operate module 5732

Short steps in our words. The buttons are lettered as in Casio's operation guide, where each task's page is given.

Set the time and date

  1. In the Timekeeping Mode, hold A for at least two seconds and let go when the Home City name shows (SET, then the city). The hands move out of the way.
  2. Press C until the setting you want flashes. The order is: Home City, summer time, seconds, hours, minutes, year, month, day, 12/24-hour format, day of the week language, button tone, light duration, auto time correction, power saving, then back to the Home City.
  3. On the seconds, press D to reset them to 00.
  4. On the hours, minutes, year, month or day, press D or B to change them; holding either scrolls fast.
  5. On the 12/24-hour format, press D to switch between 12H and 24H. In 12-hour format, P marks p.m.
  6. Press A to leave the setting screen.

Good to know

When the watch is paired with a phone running CASIO WATCHES, it sets its time by itself around 12:30 a.m., 6:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. while left in the Timekeeping Mode. To set it now, keep the phone within one meter and press D in the Timekeeping Mode: TIME flashes, then OK shows and the time is set.

Resetting the seconds between 30 and 59 adds one minute.

After the time is set by hand on the watch, auto time correction does not work for 24 hours.

To switch auto time correction off, for example in a hospital or on an aircraft: in the setting screen, press C 12 times (RCVD shows), press D to pick OFF or ON, then press A. This can be changed only while the watch is paired with a phone.

Left for two or three minutes without a button press, the watch leaves the setting screen by itself.

In any mode, hold C for at least one second to go back to the Timekeeping Mode.

On a model with a rotating bezel, turn the bezel towards UNLOCK to reach the buttons.

Good to know

Every city is set to AUTO at the factory, which in many cases needs no change.
