Casio module 5755

Quartz module. 5755 is the number engraved on the caseback of these watches, and Casio files its operation manual under it. 1 watch in the catalog runs on it.

How to operate module 5755

Short steps in our words. The buttons are lettered as in Casio's operation guide, where each task's page is given.

Set the time and date

  1. If the crown screws in, unscrew it first.
  2. Wait until the second hand reaches 12 o'clock, then pull the crown out to the second click; the second hand stops.
  3. Turn the crown to set the time, going to four or five minutes before the target and then forward to it.
  4. Push the crown back in on a time signal to restart the watch.
  5. For the date, pull the crown out to the first click, turn it towards you, then push it back in.
  6. Screw the crown back in fully if it is a screw-in crown.

Good to know

Check AM or PM when setting the time. The date runs on a 31-day month, so correct it after shorter months.

Do not change the date between 9 p.m. and 1 a.m., or it may not change correctly at midnight.
